Nature Journaling

What is NATUrE Journaling?

At Feels N Fields, we use FEEL Journals to explore our thoughts and observations.  

Participants learn to use words and pictures to express themselves, creating a record of what they notice in nature combined with their developing ideas about mental wellness.


FEEL Journaling is a personal experience during which Participants are:

  • guided with prompting questions to focus attention on various aspects of nature and Social-Emotional Learning
  • encouraged to be themselves and confidently share their thoughts


FEEL Journaling sessions take adults or families on a guided tour of nature.  While exploring the outdoors, we also take time to consider our thoughts and feelings and mindfully use journals as a tool for digging deeper into our emotional wellbeing.
