My name is Sandra. I've been an elementary teacher for 20 years and am constantly motivated by the natural desire kids have to learn and explore.
The time I spend outdoors has always been very special to me. Sharing that passion with students started during my first year of teaching when I noticed how many children did not have easy access to quality time in nature.
The importance of Social-Emotional Learning (S.E.L.) has inspired me to explore the link between nature and mental wellness and how to help others make that connection too.
